Canyon Creek Scenics is proud to offer a wide variety of trees for your layout.
We offer healthy trees, dead trees, insect damaged trees, and burned trees. Douglas firs or cedars. Old trees and young trees, background trees, foreground trees and superdetailed DeepWoods™ trees in heights from 3" to 36".
Foreground Conifer Trees
Our foreground trees are realistic enough to be placed at the front edges of your layout. The level of detail is that good! Canyon Creek Scenics foreground trees will look great on your layout planted individually. But you'll really say Wow! when they are clustered together!
Standard features of Foreground Trees:
- Outstanding bark detail on their trunks
- Naturally shaped foliage
- Dead branches, lichen, and moss below the upper foliage for extra realism
- Realistic colors for trunk and foliage
- Robust construction. While we don't suggest throwing our trees around the room,
- Tree planting spike in the bottom of the trunk
they won't fall apart if they get bumped - as trees may when used in the foreground!

Dead and Burned Conifer Trees
The next time you're out in the woods you'll likely find that not all trees are healthy. Trees die and lose their foliage leaving a skeleton that becomes grayer and more weathered over time. Trees get hit by lightening or are caught in fire and get burned - sometimes they survive (barely), other times they die.
Features of dead trees:
- Realistic, gray, weathered color
- Many branches protruding from the trunk
- Appropriate bark detail for a dead tree
- Tree planting spike in the bottom of the trunk
Features of burned trees:
- Dark scorched color
- Many branches are dead, other have remnants of foliage
- Many branches protruding from the trunk
- Appropriate bark detail for a burned tree

Background Trees
Our background trees are designed to fill in your forests in areas
where the viewer won't be able to get close to them.
The major difference between them and our foreground trees is less trunk detailing. This saves a great deal of time and allows the prices of these trees to be lower than our foreground models.
